WHO ARE WE? BACP is a group of Bend area childcare providers who have banded together to promote better childcare in the Bend, Or area thru Parent/ Provider education and relationships.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO PARENTS? When parents choose a childcare provider who is a BACP member, they can be assured that they have chosen a provider who is an active participant in ongoing courses in the area of early childhood development, as well as a participant in various community organizations promoting quality childcare in the Bend area. Also BACP offers FREE CHILDCARE REFERRALS to parents seeking childcare.
WHAT DOES BACP MEMBERSHIP OFFER TO PROVIDERS? As a BACP member, providers are regularly notified of BACP meetings, childcare classes available to providers, carpool info., community service organization information pertaining to childcare, effective tips for handling situations that arise in the childcare environment, and much much more.

President: Margaret Head (541) 330-0188 Woodland Critters Childcare Margaret is a mother of two who has chosen childcare as her career and a means of staying home with her children. Her childcare is located on Bend's southside in Deschutes River Woods and features a large yard near the end of the road on the school bus route. Summertime activities include gardening, nature hikes, outdoor games, etc.
